10th Annual Day 2019

The 10th Annual Day of our school was celebrated with great hue and pomp on 27th July, 2019 at Jeppiar Auditorium.  The theme of the Annual Day was ‘Unfold the tenfold’ and Dr Mala Swamy, Principal, Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai presided over the junior segment of the Annual Day. We also had our trustee, Mrs. Amrit Ramana Prasad to grace the occasion.

The cultural event by our tiny tots began with the devotional song and was followed by invocation dance which highlighted the ten Avatars of lord Vishnu. Then, the audience was presented with Hindi play having the concept of thinking before you act. The upper primary event showcased various dances. The folk dance of Tamil Nadu was exuberant and the peppy western dance was enthralling. The English play then highlighted the fact of doing good deeds. The Tamil play emphasized on the fact of intellect and how knowing many languages makes our life easier.

The annual report highlighted the accomplishment of our students in various fields. The chief guest applauded the fact that every child was given an opportunity to perform on the stage. Mrs. Amrit Ramana Prasad,our beloved trustee released our annual magazine for the academic year 2018-19 and also gave the most prestigious certificates for completion of 5 or more years in our organization to our staff personnel. It was truly a moment of pride.

The senior segment began with an invocation to the Almighty. Mr. L. Suresh Ramamurthi, an accredited coach from International coach Federation (ICF-US) graced the occasion. The program began with an invocation dance in which the dancers showed the beauty of classical dance in a very mesmerizing manner. The Hindi play touched upon the issue of scarcity of water.  Our class X and XII school and subject toppers of the CBSE board exams for the academic session 2018-19 were felicitated by the chief guest. The chief guest appreciated the hard work done by everyone to make the event a grand success.

The cultural event then continued with English Play focusing on the attitude towards work and the Tamil Play which emphasized on the importance of knowledge. It was followed by the Mime which described the various emotions in the life of a student. We had a peppy western dance and were witness to the brilliant performance of our students in the Sanskrit Play which taught us that work is worship. The French play then described the adolescents trying to share the responsibilities with their parents followed by the grand finale which was a combination of various folk dances and the event concluded with vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
