The 3rd International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st of June 2017. The members of the Art of Living were invited to enlighten the students with a few yoga asanas and their benefits. The students of BVM International School along with their teachers also attended this programme. The day’s event started with a chanting of Sanskrit mantra. The significance of Yoga and its origin were explained by one of the members of the Art of Living. After which, the students got into the spirit of performing a few yoga asanas like pranayama, padmasana, vajrasana, utkatasana, tadasana, etc. These asanas were taught to imbibe the holistic approach to health and well-being among the students.
