The auspicious function ‘Aksharabhyasam’ was held in the Senior Block on 7th of June, 2017. The parents and the tiny tots were welcomed in a traditional way.
The program started with the school prayer and was followed by a welcome speech. Soon after the speech, pooja was performed by chanting mantras. At the end of the pooja, the parents were asked to place their kids on their laps and spread the rice over the given plates and hold their child’s hand to write ‘Om Sri Gurubhyonamaha’. The pooja was then followed by an Orientation Programme, where the BVM philosophy, curriculum and other details were explained by the KG teachers. The Principal addressed the gathering and introduced his team.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The parents were asked to visit the Pre-KG class rooms in the Junior Block, where they met the respective class teachers. At the end of the day, the parents were excited to see their children taking the first step to the lifelong love of learning.
