FORUM ART GALLERY VISIT

‘Kalalayaa’ classes conducted in our school impart knowledge of art to the students of classes 3 to 5. Art education plays a vital role in the life of a student. It not only helps students develop creativity, visual learning and motor skills but also imparts soft skills like perseverance, focus, collaboration and confidence. Our Kalalayaa teacher Mr. B.O.Shailesh’s Art and Sculpture works were displayed in the Forum Art Gallery at Adyar. The students of class 9 were taken to the Art Gallery to view the Exhibition of Sculptures and Art work based on Yoga organized by the Cholamandal Artists’ Village. It was really a wonderful exposure to the students to view the pictures. The theme was “Juxtaposing”. This endeavor by the school was to instill an appreciation for fine arts amongst students.
