The 7th Annual Sports day celebration on the 9th of July, 2016 at the BVM Global at Bollineni Hillside was the most glorious and eventful day. The programme began with prayer. Deepak of class IX welcomed the gathering. The honorable Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Bhanu Shankar, Head of School, BVM International School. Her speech during the event was memorable, inspiring, encouraging and educative for the students. The other Chief Guest Dr. Paul Deva Sagayam, Director of Special Olympics Bharat, Tamil Nadu was another eminent person who graced the occasion with his presence. It was an honor to have the presence of Ms.Debjani , Principal of BVM Global at Perungudi.
Mukundhan of class IX administered the solemn oath to the House Captains. We had several exciting sports events like the aerobics, running race, 4 X 100 meters relay and relay for teachers. Watching the victorious moments of glory amongst the students along with their parents and the staff cheering them up with great zeal was really a pleasant aspect of the event. Dr Paul Deva Sagayam, Director of Special Olympics Bharat, Tamil Nadu , the Chief Guest for the Valedictory function gave away the prizes.
The Cauvery house won cup for March past and Ganga House the overall Championship. Then we had the ceremonial lowering of the school flag to mark the end of an eventful sports day for 2016. After the lowering the school flag, the meet was declared closed and National Anthem was sung.
