Karthigai deepam was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on 4th of December, 2017. In the KG Block, the entrance was decorated with rangoli and diyas. The day's programme started with bhajans and songs praising Lord Karthikeya and Lord Shiva. The significance of the festival was detailed to the students through an English speech. Colourful take aways were given to the students.
In the Senior Block, Karthigai Deepam was celebrated on 3rd of December, 2017. Students from Classes III to V participated in the celebration. The celebration was hosted by Class III B students. The celebration began with an invocation prayer followed by a beautiful medley dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Lord Karthikeya and Lord Shiva. The programme ended with a Tamil speech.
