Navarathri was celebrated in a grand manner on 21st of September, 2017 in the Junior Block. The students came dressed in traditional attire. A Golu was displayed at the entrance and its importance was explained to the students. A PPT was shown on the significance of Navarathri festival and also the various ways of celebrating the festival. The students witnessed a group dance and enjoyed singing the Navarathri songs, bhajans and slokas. Take homes were given to the students.In the Senior Block, the festival was celebrated on 22ndof September, 2017. The Golu dolls, given by the students were arranged beautifully. The celebration started with a prayer to the Almighty. A few devotional bhajans were sung and a group dance was performed as a part of the celebration. Prasadam was distributed to the students after the pooja.
