Onam was celebrated on Tuesday, 5th of September, 2017 in the KG Block.A traditional ‘Pookalam’(floral arrangement) was done by the teachers for the celebration.The significance of the festival and the essence of celebrating it were detailed through a power point presentation. As a part of the celebration, songs and Kalikotti Kali were performed by the teachers. The celebration was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
In the Senior Block, Onam was celebrated on 1st of September, 2017. The programme commenced with the school prayer and was followed by a skit and a folk dance. The programme came to an end with a song which vividly described the kingdom of King Mahabali as the most ideal of all the kingdoms during his reign. The students learnt that Onam festival is not just a festival to cherish, but a moment to reincarnate the prosperity and goodness of the olden days.
