BVM GLOBAL @ SHOLINGANALLUR

Students of Classes 6 and 7 participated in a workshop conducted by Bitwise California. This workshop was held at BVM Global, Perungudi on 15 th  of August, 2017. Mr G Venkat and Mr Surya were the facilitators of the workshop. Mr. Venkat is the CEO of the Bitwise company. He explained about Scratch, a programming language  learnt by the students in the robotics lab. He taught the students about objects, the x and y grid, and the attributes and behavior of the objects. He explained to the students more about variables, broadcasting and receiving messages, and about costumes, stage and sounds. He also showed the students some popular video games like Pacman, Super Mario Kart, Pong, Space Invaders modified to be played in Scratch. The workshop was a great learning experience for the students.
